Forte Holdings, a leading healthcare software provider in the United States, reminds customers to make sure they have a NEMSIS Gold certified software.

The National Emergency Medical Services Information System (NEMSIS) is the national repository that stores EMS data from every state in the nation. NEMSIS is a national effort to standardize the data collected by EMS agencies. Since the 1970s, the need for EMS information systems and databases has been well established, and many statewide data systems have been created. However, these EMS systems vary in their ability to collect patient and systems data and allow analysis at a local, state and national level. For this reason, the NEMSIS project was developed to help states collect more standardized elements and eventually submit the data to a national EMS database.

The NEMSIS Technical Assistance Center has established a policy to only disclose those software packages that have successfully completed the compliance testing process. iPCR has been fully Gold compliance certified by the National Emergency Medical Services Information System, meaning users may collect and export data without fear of deviating from the NHTSA Version 2.2.1 EMS Dataset and XML standards.

For 30 years, Forte Holdings has combined technological expertise with input from medical workers to develop software that supports and improves patient care and administrative processes within the healthcare industry. The company's flagship products, iPCR, Chiro8000, and SecureClaims, effectively address the needs of specific medical workers, from first responders to private practitioners.

iPCR Designed for the iPad, the iPCR application makes patient care reporting quick, simple, and accurate for firefighter and emergency medical services. The software is Gold certified by the National Emergency Medical Services Information System and interfaces with both PCs and Macs.

8000 Series The newest version of the series connects the areas of billing, scheduling, office management, marketing, EMR/EHR, communication, patient education, collections, and human resources. The included Drummond Certified EMR is designed to simplify physicians' electronic medical recordkeeping. The software provides users with fast, accurate medical notes; all the storage and time-saving advantages of a paperless process; audit protection; and increased billing revenue via efficient coding.

SecureClaims Fully 5010 compliant, SecureClaims takes an integrated approach to electronic claims processing to offer comprehensive financial and transaction management. It grants electronic access to more than 2,000 insurance or managed care companies and enables users to receive electronic remittance advice from participating payers.

Forte Holdings, the leading provider of healthcare software solutions, has signed on to be the primary sponsor of the 2013 Volunteer Firefighters Academy, an annual training program run by the El Dorado County Training Officers Association.

The training officers association is made up of representatives from all the fire departments on the Western Slope of the county. Along with sharing training resources and information, the association organizes the Volunteer Firefighter Academy each year for the purpose of turning new volunteers into qualified firefighters. The volunteers undergo 160 hours of training during a five-month period in order to give crucial support for fire stations' fire and emergency medical services.

"We created our iPCR application to enable first responders to care for the people they rescue as effectively as possible, so it's only fitting that we extend that mission by committing our support to local firefighters' second line of defense," said Anthony Schwartz , president of Forte Holdings. "Some stations have more volunteers than they do career firefighters, and some are completely staffed by volunteers. Because of that, volunteer training organizations like the academy are absolutely vital to our communities."

This sponsorship is just one of the firefighter-related philanthropic activities in which Forte Holdings has engaged over the years. The company's outreach efforts have also included the Leary FireFighters Foundation, the Fire Fighter Cancer Foundation, the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation, and the G.W. First Responders Charitable Foundation, among others.

Forte Systems, a leading provider of healthcare software solutions in the United States, was pleased to have a positive 1-year analytics report for their updated phone system via Call-Back-In-Queue.

Back in early 2007, Forte Systems embarked on six-figure plus upgrade to their phone system. One of the largest client benefits of this upgrade was the unique Call-Back-In-Queue feature. If an office calls in for technical support, the caller has the option to have the system hold their place in line without actually waiting on hold. The caller can then disconnect and a few minutes later when their turn comes up, the system with the assistance of Call-Back-In-Queue calls the office back and a live technician is waiting on the phone. "Already our tech support is different than our competitors," stated Courtney Holmes, Operations Manager of Forte Systems. "Our hold times are very low and we are one of the only companies in our segment to offer 24/7/365 live-person toll-free tech support. Now with Call-Back-In-Queue, our clients will have an even easier time working with us."

The 1-year analytics report on the Call-Back-In-Queue system showed an even higher usage rate than was originally expected. It is clear that doctor's offices like the convenience of never having to wait on hold.

Forte Systems, a leading provider of healthcare software solutions in the United States, announced their release of an entirely new class of healthcare software: Patient Relationship Software. This new breed of software is designed to replace both billing and practice management software.

As billing and practice management software both contain the limitations of only serving to maintain a practice, the Chiro8000 version 12 was created to maintain, enhance, and expand the practice. The varying levels of version 12 make it the first software to offer a true connection for the areas of billing, scheduling, office management, marketing, EMR/EHR, communication, patient education, collections, and employee management. The Chiro8000 product line aims to maintain and enhance the efficiency of the chiropractic practice as it assists offices in growing their patient volume. It looks to set practices apart in a way that their patients will notice. "Your relationship with your patients is the key to your success. You need your patients to view you as reliable, caring, relevant, and unique," stated Anthony Schwartz, President of Forte Systems. "The use of Patient Relationship Software will accomplish that."

The invention of Patient Relationship Software was announced with release of version 12 of the Chiro8000. This has also been tied into a national advertising campaign pitting the advancement of this new kind of software against the old breed of billing and practice management software. Version 12 has gotten national press attention with a cover story being written about it from a major chiropractic publication.
